DNB Engineering offers a full-service Direct Effect Lightning test facility in Anaheim, CA. Our custom-built state-of-the-art equipment generates all of the waveforms of stringent standards for lightning threats to aircraft and earth-bound equipment.

The indoor Direct Lightning Test Facility features a large ground plane (32×64 feet) for high voltage attachment testing.

OUR DIRECT STRIKE LABORATORY IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL:

• 3.0MV Marx Generator
• CAN BUILD ANY CUSTOM WAVEFORMS FOR SPECIFIC PROGRAMS

The facility includes a unique environmentally controlled darkroom for both photographic and ignitable mixture test methods. We also feature a dedicated customer viewing area where our clients can safely watch their tests being conducted.
